(WFXR)- The United States Postal Service (USPS) has filed a notice with the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) of price increases for multiple shipping services.
The new rates would go into effect on January 18, 2026, according to the press release.
The changes would impact the following services:
- Priority Mail– 6.6 percent increase
- Priority Mail Express– 5.1 percent increase
- USPS Ground Advantage– 7.8 percent increase
- Parcel Select- 6.0 percent increase
For example, Priority Mail, which currently starts from $10.45 at the post office, would increase to $11.14 (from $8.18 to $8.72 for commercial pricing). And USPS Ground Advantage, which currently starts from $7.20 at the post office, would increase to $7.76 (from $4.50 to $4.85 for commercial pricing)…
