BLACKSBURG, Va. (WFXR) – Blacksburg mayoral candidate Pete Macedo says he is pursuing a recount in his race against Michael Sutphin.
According to the Virginia Department of Elections, Macedo is currently trailing Sutphin by only 18 votes.
In a recent Facebook post, Macedo states that, pending certification by the electoral board, he plans to pursue a recount.
