Memorial procession set for fallen corrections officer

GRAYSON COUNTY, Va. (WFXR)- A memorial procession is planned Thursday, November 20, for a fallen corrections officer killed in the line of duty.

The procession for Jeremy Lewis Hall, 40, will begin at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Roanoke, located at 6600 Northside High School Road, continue on to Peters Creek Road to Interstate 581 North, then on to Interstate 81 South. The procession will then merge on to Interstate 77 South, near Fort Chiswell, continue to Exit 14 (I-77) in Galax, followed by Route 58 West to the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home, located at 44 Dan Walters Drive, in Independence.

Organizers of the procession will meet at the Chief Medical Examiners Office at 11:00 a.m. The procession will follow. The Virginia State Police will be providing the escort.
