Shots fired in Roanoke lead to car crash, suspect injured

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – The Roanoke Police Department (RPD) is reporting shots fired that ended in a car crash.

According to officials, at 4:29 p.m., an initial call came through for shots fired. Then a suspect’s car crashed into a tree near the intersection of Greenbrier Avenue and Clinton Avenue Southeast.

Officers say there are no injuries from a gunshot wound so far, and the suspect who crashed has non-life-threatening injuries…
