Roanoke, Va. (WFXR)- The Roanoke Police Department has arrested a man accused of firing a shot at another driver during an ongoing dispute.
The incident started at 4:27 p.m., on Wednesday, November 19, in a Walmart parking lot in the 2100 block of Dale Avenue SE. According to police, the drivers of a silver Honda sedan and a white Jeep were arguing when the Honda driver shot at the other.
Witnesses told police both cars left the parking lot and “chasing each other down Greenbrier Avenue SE.” The Honda sedan was located unoccupied, crashed into a tree in the 1700 block of Greenbrier Avenue SE. The driver was found nearby with non-life-threatening injuries sustained in the crash. Police said no injuries were reported from the shot fired.

The driver of the Honda sedan, identified at Jeremy Stover, 38, of Roanoke, was charged with the following offenses:
- Shooting from a vehicle
- Felon in possession of a firearm
- Shooting in the city
- Reckless handling of a firearm
- Hit and run.
