BLET Division 301 in Roanoke, Virginia, marked its 140th anniversary in November. The Division was chartered on November 17, 1885. Members celebrated the anniversary at a recent meeting. They wore t-shirts designed by Local Chairman Patrick Jennings. The Division donated a commemorative t-shirt to the National Division for display in the BLET history museum.
Division 301 was originally based in Lovely Mount, Virginia. It represented locomotive engineers of the Norfolk & Western Railroad. The Division moved to Roanoke in 1903.
