Blacksburg, VA –Drivers across southwest Virginia should brace for bitter cold early Saturday as temperatures plummet into the teens and low 20s, raising the risk of black ice along key corridors like I-81, I-77, and US-460.
According to the National Weather Service in Blacksburg, calm winds overnight will do little to ease the deep chill settling across the region.
