ROANOKE Va. (WFXR)– A Blue Ridge favorite is back with the annual Fashion for Evergreens Christmas tree display at Hotel Roanoke. Visitors can vote for their favorite tree, all of which are decorated by local groups, and the proceeds benefit the local United Way.
For 25 years, visitors to Hotel Roanoke have been treated to a special peek into the holiday spirit through its annual Fashions for Evergreen Christmas tree display. Dozens of groups participate, all for the coveted people’s choice award.
“We have some great participants. We have people that have been here for years, like Creative Occasions, the Garden Council of Roanoke, the Fallen Heroes tree. We also have the U.S. Army tree here, Carilion Clinic, and a bunch of others that you can’t miss,” said Brian Wells, the general manager of Hotel Roanoke…
