Cornerstone Building Brands to Expand Rocky Mount Facility, Bringing 50 New Jobs to Our Community

Cornerstone Building Brands, North America’s largest manufacturer of exterior building products, will invest $4.9 million to expand its operations in Rocky Mount, Virginia. The expansion is expected to create 50 new full-time jobs. The average annual wage for these positions will be $37,775, or $18.16 per hour. The company is currently the largest private employer in Franklin County.

The project will upgrade manufacturing capabilities and improve efficiency at the Rocky Mount facility. Local officials, including Franklin County Administrator Chris Whitlow and Board of Supervisors Chairman Ronnie Thompson, welcomed the decision. They said the investment shows the company’s confidence in the local workforce and infrastructure. Officials also stated that the expansion will support the local economy and create new job opportunities.
