BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Two people died in a car crash Friday, according to Virginia State Police.
They identified the driver as 53-year-old Angela Marie Heffinger and the passenger as 54-year-old Randy Lee Simmons. Both were wearing seatbelts.

VSP says the single-vehicle crash happened Dec. 5 at 7:21 p.m. on Stewartsville Road just north of Afton Meadow Road. The 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 was reportedly driving east when it ran off the right side of the road and hit a utility pole.
The crash is still under investigation…
