VIRGINIA — Two people died Friday evening in a single-vehicle crash on Stewartsville Road in Bedford County, according to Virginia State Police.
Troopers say the crash happened around 7:21 p.m. near Afton Meadow Road. A pickup truck traveling east on Stewartsville Road ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a utility pole.
The driver has been identified as 53-year-old Angela Heffinger, and the passenger as 54-year-old Randy Simmons. Both were pronounced dead at the scene…
