(WFXR)- National Wreaths Across America Day is this Saturday, December 13. This is an annual ceremony to place holiday wreaths on the graves of veterans and family members interred at state veteran’s cemetery.
According to Virginia Department of Veterans Services, this day is dedicated to honoring those who serve, remembering the fallen, and teaching the value of freedom to the next generation.
Here are your local participating cemeteries:
Dublin:
- Address: Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery. 5550 Bagging Plant Road, Dublin, Va.
- Date: Saturday, December 13, 2025.
- Time The public should arrive at the cemetery by 12:00 p.m., the event begins at 1:00 p.m.
Lynchburg:
- Address: Old City Cemetery, 401 Taylor Street, Lynchburg Va.
- Date: Saturday, December 13, 2025.
- Time: The ceremony begins at 12:00 p.m.
Salem:
- Address: East Hill Cemetery, 801 E Main Street, Salem, Va.
