BEDFORD, Va. (WSET) — Police officers traded their badges for shopping carts Saturday as they teamed up with children in the Bedford community to help them find the perfect holiday gift.
About 30 children spent the morning shopping alongside local police officers at Bedford’s Walmart as part of the annual Shop with a Cop event. The event supports families during the holiday season and ensures every child has something special to open on Christmas morning.
