Roanoke County teen remembered for joy and faith amid cancer battle

ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WSET) — A Roanoke County teenager is being remembered not just for the cancer he fought, but for the joy, faith and kindness he showed throughout his life.

Seventeen-year-old Camden Thepsimuong died Wednesday after a battle with a rare bone cancer. Friends, family, and community members gathered on Monday, December 22, to celebrate Camden’s life, reflecting on the impact he made despite his young age.

“Cam knew the way,” said Pastor Jason Cook, of Valley Church, during the service.
