Virginia – Wet pavement reflects headlights across the New River Valley this morning as light rain develops and clouds press low over the mountains. The air feels damp and mild, but conditions are already shifting as a busy weather pattern takes shape during the first full weekend of winter.
According to the National Weather Service in Blacksburg, scattered rain chances increase today with temperatures topping out in the mid-40s. Roads around Blacksburg, Christiansburg, and along U.S. 460 may stay slick at times, especially later in the day. Winds remain light, but visibility could dip briefly during passing showers…
