ATLANTA — A family is suing Delta and KLM airlines, claiming their seats on an Atlanta-based flight were infested with bed bugs, which ruined their European vacation earlier this year.
The Albuquerque family lives in Roanoke, Virginia, and was flying to Belgrade, Serbia, when they soon developed welts, lesions and rashes from bed bug bites, which “ruined their family vacation and has caused humiliation, embarrassment, anxiety, discomfort, inconvenience, medical expenses and loss of clothing and personal items,” according to a lawsuit filed this month.
