Furry Friends: Copper is searching for a forever home

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR)—WFXR News highlights pets ready for adoption in area shelters through our weekly segment, Furry Friends!

On Tuesday, December 30, Kathy Bauman and Anita Finkle with the Regional Center for Animal Care and Protection (RCACP) brought Copper to the WFXR News Studio.

Copper is a handsome eight-year-old bloodhound mix. Don’t let his age fool you as Copper has a playful side. His favorite things include belly rubs, treats, and playing with his toys. He also enjoys car rides.

Furry Friends: Clarence is ready to be your cuddle buddy!

Copper would do well in almost any household. He loves getting to know people and has gotten along with other dogs. He appears to be housebroken and is very treat-motivated.

Whether you’re looking for a playful companion or a jumbo-sized lapdog, Copper is the guy for you! This 123-pound boy is full of love, and he’s ready to share it with a forever family in the new year!
