6 people, 7 dogs displaced after house fire in Roanoke County: Officials

ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WSET) — One person was taken to the hospital, and six people and seven dogs have been displaced following a house fire on Monday in Catawba, according to firefighters.

Roanoke County firefighters responded to the 6100 block of Newport Rd. for reports of a residential structure fire, and around 3:55 p.m., units reported smoke and fire coming from a camper in the backyard.
