ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – Stopping weight loss drugs can lead to re-gaining weight and a reversal of some of the medications’ beneficial effects. A study published in the British Medical Journal found people, on average, re-gained nearly a pound, a month after stopping G-L-P 1 drugs, and within two years, their risk markers for diabetes and heart disease returned to the same levels as before using the drugs.

Receiving a whooping cough vaccination during pregnancy helps protect newborns. Researchers in the Netherlands found when expecting mothers got a Pertussis vaccination at 22 weeks, the antibodies transferred to their newborns. This is significant, because babies are extremely vulnerable in their first weeks of life, so this offers them protection even before they’re old enough to be vaccinated…
