ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – Center in the Square in downtown Roanoke announced it’s looking into the possibility of putting a Ferris wheel on its roof. The nonprofit is exploring multiple options, which could impact its size.
The first step is to request funding from the state for a feasibility study to determine what is possible. During talks with WDBJ7, officials, including Mayor Joe Cobb, referenced a Ferris wheel on the roof of a museum in St. Louis.
