ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Protesters gathered in Roanoke’s Elmwood Park on Sunday afternoon to speak out against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement after an agent fatally shot 37-year-old Renee Good in Minneapolis on January 7.
“I think it’s important that we all come out here to voice our opinion on why what the federal government is doing and what ICE is doing is wrong on so many levels,” said Sullivan Manley, one of the protesters.
