Luke Reynolds is headed to Virginia Tech, and Penn State fans aren’t exactly wishing him well. Pete Thamel reported on Sunday on X that Reynolds picked the Hokies after two seasons in Happy Valley. Reynolds was a five-star recruit from Cheshire Academy in the 2024 class. James Franklin brought him to State College. Now, Franklin’s coaching at Virginia Tech and Reynolds is coming along for the ride.
ESPN ranks him as the No. 2 tight end available in the portal. He hauled in 35 passes for 368 yards during his time with the Nittany Lions. Ty Howle, who coached tight ends at Penn State, runs the Hokies’ offense now and will coach the position in Blacksburg, too.
