Virginia Drug Dealer Who Masked Up To Rob Friend, Executed Would-Be Thief Learns Prison Fate

The violent run of a Roanoke drug dealer came to a close this week after a federal judge handed down a 165-month prison sentence tied to a masked robbery and a deadly shooting that unfolded months later.

Damon Tyler Mills, 29, pleaded guilty in April 2025 to Hobbs Act robbery and brandishing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.
