ROANOKE, VA. (WFXR) – Winter weather can have a significant impact on our region, leaving many vulnerable to cold temperatures.
“So for the next few days, we are expecting overnight low temperatures below the freezing mark. Overall, in the teens, we may have slightly milder mornings into the 20s and lower 30s, but it does appear that as we head into the weekend, that’s when we’re looking at some of our coldest temperatures,” said Meteorologist Kara Thompson at WFXR News.
