Many roads across Southside Virginia became virtually impassable Sunday as winter weather conditions deteriorated throughout the region, leading to numerous crashes.
Through Sunday night, Virginia State Police reported 146 crashes in and around Southwest Virginia, resulting in 14 injuries.
