ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – The City of Roanoke has chosen Laura Carini as its next City Attorney, effective March 1.
Carini joined the Roanoke City Attorney’s office in 2012 and has served as Deputy City Attorney since 2024. She is an experienced municipal attorney with expertise in Virginia municipal law, governance, litigation, economic development, and more.
“Laura has consistently provided us with strategic advice and delivered comprehensive, forward thinking legal counsel,” Mayor Joseph Cobb said. “She will position the Star City as a conduit for ongoing growth in her role.”
