Monday: Christiansburg Planning Commission to vote on rezoning 37-plus acres from agriculture to residential
At 7 p.m. Monday, the Christiansburg Planning Commission will vote on rezoning more than 37 acres at 300 Kimball Lane from agriculture to single-family residential to allow for a housing development of 53 detached homes. The homes are proposed to be built within three years of rezoning approval. The initial proposal for the development was revised based on town residents’ concerns at the public hearing on Jan. 20.
