UPDATE: Trial for Roanoke man accused of hitting & killing girlfriend with truck rescheduled

SALEM, Va. (WDBJ) – The trial for a Roanoke man accused of hitting and killing a woman with a truck was rescheduled for Wednesday, June 3, 2026, according the Salem Circuit Court.

On December 28, 2024, Jeremy Christopher Williams of Roanoke was arrested. He faces a first-degree murder charge after he allegedly hit and killed his girlfriend, Ashley Gearhart, with his truck.
