ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – The City of Roanoke is hosting public meetings about council member initiatives.
One topic on the table is changes to zoning ordinances made back in 2024.
“Our 2024 zoning text changes where we tried to make missing middle housing more available within the city,” said Planning Manager Wayne Leftwich. “So, what we’ve done here tonight is try to address some of those concerns that people had as we look at bringing back some parking standards, bringing back some design standards for apartment buildings, and so here today, we’re trying to get feedback from people to see if we hit the mark on those changes.”…
