ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – Just last week, the Roanoke City Public School Board heard a proposal during a workshop – saying the district could be short more than $16 million for next school year.
During Thursday’s virtual town hall meeting, the school system talked about ways to make up that money, and that could impact 150 current staff and faculty positions.
