ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — A strong cold front will pass through Southwest and Central Virginia on Friday. Rain and snow showers will have the chance to pass through, with arctic air and gusty winds following behind.
While Friday will start mostly dry, snow/rain will move in from the northwest, starting around midday. Most of the snow activity is expected west of the Blue Ridge, with a mix of snow and rain anticipated in the Roanoke Valley and Central Virginia. Southside will generally see rain showers during the afternoon and early evening. Highs will be in the 30s and lower 40s.
