ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR)- Angels of Assisi is hosting a week-long pet adoption event starting Sunday, February 8.
The “Large Love” campaign is focused on giving large dogs a forever home. All dogs over 40 pounds can be adopted for $25. Available dogs have been fully vetted, spayed and neutered, and are up-to-date on their vaccines, according to Angels of Assisi.

“Large dogs make incredible companions,” said Gracie Boliek, Angels of Assisi CommunicationsManager. “They come in every personality type: playful, laid-back, adventurous, and cuddly, andwe want to give them the visibility and opportunity they deserve to find their person.”
