Celebrate Valentine’s Day with the Friends of the Franklin County Animal Shelter

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. (WFXR)– Whether you love it or hate it, Valentine’s Day is coming up fast. Friends of the Franklin County animal shelter is doing something to commemorate the holiday while also helping support their animals, with its first-ever Show Some Love fundraiser.

“Everything comes back to the animals for their medical care, their spay and neuter,” said Stephanie Wright, the president of Friends of FCAS. “We’re trying to do anything we can to continue taking care of these animals and setting them up for success, for adoption.”

There are three options for those who love the holiday. The “Paw Casso” package gives you the option to head over to the shelter on the 14th and get a painted masterpiece from your furry friend. Or you can create a valentines card for one of the animals in the shelter. Both are $10…
