Troutville Gym holds charity-style boxing competition for two-year-old battling cancer

TROUTVILLE, Va. (WFXR) — Childhood cancer is a far too common reality, with nearly 10,000 children across the United States expected to receive a diagnosis in 2026, according to the American Cancer Society.

It is a reality that the Rice family is living right now as their two-year-old daughter Audrey battles brain cancer.

“We’ve got a young lady who’s two years old and has brain cancer,” said Mark Harrison, owner of The Fastest 40 strength and speed training. “The family is in need, so what we’re trying to do is raise money to help this family out.”…
