SALEM, Va. – The WildCats traveled to Salem, Va. for the Joe LaRocco Invitational hosted by Roanoke College on Saturday and posted all-around performances.
For the 60-meter prelims, Renya Russell led the Wildcats with a fourth-place finish in 8.03 seconds to qualify for the semifinals. Tatianna Langston also advanced after posting a time of 8.48. Tyana Ayres competed in the event and finished with a time of 9.02.
Russell and Langston both delivered again in the 60-meter semifinals. Russell matched her preliminary time with an 8.03 to place fifth overall and advance, while Langston recorded a season-best 8.30 to finish seventh and earn a qualifying spot as well…
