ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – Home sales in January started the year with a hangover compared to December 2025, according to data from the Multiple Listing Service of Roanoke Valley provided by the Roanoke Valley Association of REALTORS®.
The data revealed January 2026 started with 308 homes sold, with the average home price at closing $354,438. That’s compared to December 2025, which sold 229 more homes with the average price of a contract closing being $391,351.
