Most of the ABC13 area will simply receive just “cold rain” on Sunday. Precip would start before Sunday sunrise. Temperatures hover near 40 all day.
You could observe snow either Sunday morning or night, but snow accumulations should be “slim to none” away from the mountains.
If you live over 2,000 ft, you could measure a trace of 2” of snow on Sunday. This includes the mountains of SW Virginia, and also the mountains of Bedford, Amherst and Nelson counties…
