Roanoke Airport reopens Care Cupboard for TSA agents during shutdown

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – The current partial government shutdown has caused employees of the Transportation Security Agency (TSA), which is housed within DHS, to work without pay.

The Roanoke-Blacksburg Airport (ROA) recognizes this causes hardships for the TSA agents.

Officials say, “In appreciation and gratitude for Roanoke-Blacksburg Airport TSA employees who continue to serve the flying public with dedication during the government shutdown, the Roanoke Regional Airport Commission has reopened its Care Cupboard.”…
