Furry Friends: Tubbs will win you over with his smile!

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR)—WFXR News highlights pets ready for adoption in area shelters through our weekly segment, Furry Friends!

On Tuesday, March 3, Kathy Bauman and Anita Finkle with the Regional Center for Animal Care and Protection (RCACP) brought Tubbs to the WFXR News Studio.

Six-year-old Tubbs is pint-sized and weighs about 40 pounds, but he is chock-full of love! Tubbs is friendly with the people he meets, and he gets along with other dogs. His favorite things include snuggling, cuddling, playing tug-of-war, and receiving treats!

Furry Friends: Pandora will fill your home with love!

Tubbs would do well in almost any household, as long as he gets the love and care he needs. Tubbs rides well in the car, but he needs a boost to get in. This sweet boy has a playful side, but he isn’t built for strenuous activity, like hiking. It’s important to note Tubbs is on a special diet.

Tubbs came to the RCACP in rough shape. After multiple treatments and a surgery, he’s now ready to find a loving forever home. He’ll surely win you over with his little snorts!
