Virginia State Police is investigating a vehicle verses a pedestrian crash that resulted in a fatality. The crash occurred Friday, Mar 6, 2026 at 12:29 a.m. on Waterlick Road, at Valleywood Drive in Bedford County.
A vehicle believed to be a 2019 to 2021 Ford Expedition was traveling east when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway, struck a mailbox, then struck a pedestrian. The vehicle did not stop at the scene to report the crash.
