A new opportunity for retail entrepreneurs is taking shape in Downtown Blacksburg, and applications are now open.
Downtown Blacksburg Inc. (DBI), in partnership with the Town of Blacksburg, has officially launched the tenant application for The Local @ 414, a new Retail Incubator opening in Fall 2026 that will provide affordable storefront space and hands-on business support in the heart of downtown.
To help strengthen the broader small business community, including aspiring entrepreneurs, early-stage startups, and existing Blacksburg businesses, DBI and the Town are partnering with America’s Greater Roanoke & NRV SBDC (Small Business Development Center) to offer a free, four-week Business Planning Workshop Series this April…
