(WFXR)- Drivers traveling on Interstate 77 and Interstate 81 could face backups as multiple crashes have been reported.
According to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), traffic is backed up on I-77 northbound, near mile marker 15.2 near Hillsville, due to a tractor-trailer crash. All northbound lanes are closed. The south shoulder, left lane and right lane are closed. Traffic is being diverted using the right shoulder. Traffic backups are 3.5 miles.
Drivers can expect delays on I-81S, near Christiansburg (mile marker 116.6), due to a tractor-trailer crash. As of 10:34 a.m., the south right lane and right shoulder are closed.
