The three-day festival will be held June 12th – 14th at locations around the lake
Musical artists and locations where each will perform during the 2026 SML Songwriters Festival has been announced. In 2026, the festival will feature multi-platinum artist Brady Seals, who is formerly of the bands Little Texas and Hot Apple Pie, along with 25 other singer-songwriters from Nashville as well as locally.
The SML Songwriters Festival will begin on Sunday, April 26 at 1 p.m. at Mango’s Bar & Grill with its spring kick-off event and benefit concert. The free event also launches the six-week Open Mic Competition when area artists perform each week with each week’s winner performing during the event’s grand finale on June 10. The Open Mic Competition will be held at 6 p.m. on June 3, May 27, May 20, May 13, May 6 and April 29…
