Roanoke man convicted of narcotics, firearms charges

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – A Roanoke man has been convicted after an investigation into illegal narcotics distribution and firearms possession, accordng to Virginia State Police.

State Police and the Star City Drug and Violent Crime Task Force announce the conviction of 38-year-old Marcus Taylor.

The investigation began after Taylor was identified as a suspect in the distribution of cocaine within the City of Roanoke, according to VSP. During the course of the investigation, Task Force members executed a search warrant at Taylor’s home. The search resulted in the seizure of a “large quantity of methamphetamine, cocaine, and marijuana.” Investigators also recovered an illegal firearm in Taylor’s possession…
