BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WSET) — The Bedford County Commonwealth’s Attorney has been appointed as a Circuit Court judge for the county, beginning on April 1.
Wes Nance is taking over for the retiring James W. Updike, who has served the county for 48 years.
“His career, his impact, and his legacy will never be forgotten,” Nance said. “I greatly appreciate that I have had the opportunity to practice in front of him for the last 24 years. I am humbled to be chosen to be his successor, but I will never be able to replace him.”…
