Roanoke man gets two life sentences on drug, firearm charges

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Virginia State Police (VSP) and the Star City Drug and Violent Crime Task Force have convicted Marcus Taylor, 38, after an investigation into illegal drug dealing and firearm possession.

Authorities suspected that Taylor was distributing cocaine in the City of Roanoke and initiated an investigation.

Task Force members subsequently searched his residence and found large amounts of methamphetamine, cocaine and marijuana along with an illegally owned firearm…
