ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – Average gasoline prices in Roanoke have risen 35.8 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.72 per gallon as of Monday, March 23, 2026, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 155 stations in Roanoke.
Gasbuddy also says prices in Roanoke are 98.7 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and 89.5 cents per gallon higher than a year ago. Diesel gas’s national average has risen 27 cents compared to a week ago and stands at $5.23 per gallon, the highest since November 22, 2022.
According to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country, the national average price of gas has gone up 24.3 cents per gallon in the last week, it stands at $3.92 entering Monday.
