K9 Tilly joins Franklin County Sheriff to enhance school safety

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office introduces a new member to their team; except she has four legs!

Tilly is Franklin County Sheriff’s Office’s (FCSO) newest K9 and will work alongside School Resource Deputy Chad Huston.

The 14-month-old yellow labrador retriever is training in the detection of black powder related to firearms and ammunition.

K9 Tilly is also training to detect various illegal substances…
