ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – Roanoke Mayor Joe Cobb is weighing in after the city issued zoning violations to The Least of These Ministry (TLOT) on February 25.
The violations could force the nonprofit to remove its warming bus, outdoor lockers, and portable restroom—resources it uses to serve people experiencing homelessness.
The city’s zoning department recently classified the ministry’s use as “Regional Housing Services,” which is not permitted in the downtown district.
