VINTON, Va. (WDBJ) – Discarded smoking materials have been found to be the cause of a fire in Vinton that led to one person’s death. That’s according to the Roanoke County Fire Marshal’s Office.
The victim, 71-year-old Robert Thompson, was pulled from the house on E. Augusta Avenue March 21, and pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of death has not been revealed…
